PHOTOGRAPHERS’ LOCATION NOTES

Discovered on a farm just outside of York, Western Australia, this Austin Sheerline was one of many Austins we discovered on the property, as the farmer was a loyal Austin devotee. Designed during the Second World War but not commencing production until 1947 because of war priorities this 2 ton limousine became a favourite with farmers as it was 2/3 the price of a similar size Rolls-Royce

The Sheerline line was produced as a four door saloon, four-door limousine, an ambulance and a hearse.  Obviously designed to cover all occurrences in life & death!
